The Guardian newspaper has produced good articles on the potential of 5G. It includes a statement on the crucial importance of 5G in a Europe disrupted by the covid-19 from Colin Wilcock of the 5G IA.

It concludes that Europe “must ensure that research, trials and standards are developed to support the requirements of new areas” and that “ a clear European strategy to retain leadership and influence in this key strategic technological area” is needed. It also states that an “early focus on 6G is crucial”.
